PC110 No.4へのWin2K組み込み 試験 ［2023/9/30］ [to English note]
＋＋＋ No.4：四郎の改造部 ＋＋＋
久し振りに、「PC110 No.4：四郎」を取り出して眺めてみた。
これには、色々改造を施してある。
先ず、CFより厚みのある「MicroDrive 1GB」が差せるように、口を広げてある。
「CF」は口の下側に差す。（図１）
次に、（本体直接ではないが）「FDD」のコネクタが邪魔なので、直接「ポトリ」内部に接続してある。（図２［クリック］）
「FDD」と「ポトリ」とはマジック・テープで留めてある。
更に、前LCD部に「CFアクセス・ランプ／LED」が設けてある。（参照頁-1、参照頁-2）
画面は、勿論！「6型TFT-LCD」で、窓枠配置は、一応最終形。（図３）
これの設定プログラムとパラメータは、
ct65535e.exe /m7（for PC-DOS）
ct65535w.exe 11（for Win95,Wi98）
＋＋＋ W2K SP4 組込可能か？ ＋＋＋
この「MicroDrive 1GB」には、PC-DOS、W95、W98を組込んで、マルチブート方式にしてある。
が、昔やったことがある「Win2000」が、今出来るかどうか、試してみたくなった。
昔動いた「W2K-CF」は、マシンを替えたら動かなくなったので、再フォーマットして、別用途に。
今回新しく「CF 2GB」に、先ず「Win95」を組込んだ。（図３）
で、其処へ「Win2K」の種を置いて、インストールしてみた。
ライセンスの有る“SP4”でやってみたら、現在20MBだが、実は32MBが必要！という。（図４［クリック］）
．．そりゃ、無理だ！
やはり、20MBでは、“SP1-2”でないと駄目なのかな？
物置などを探し回ったが、もう「Win2K」マシンは残っていなかったので、別方法を検討中。
．．．兎に角、インストールは出来るはずだ！実用性は、知らんけど。（笑）
実は、このメモリ不足問題は、後で解決した。

＋＋ No.4: Shiro's modification ＋＋
After a long time, I took out 'PC110 No.4: Shiro' and looked at it.
This has undergone various modifications.
First, the opening is widened so that we can insert a MicroDrive 1GB, which is thicker than a Compact Flash / CF.
"CF" is inserted lower side of the opening. (Fig.1)
Next, the "FDD" connector (to the port repricator / Potri) is in the way, so it is connected directly to inside of the "Potri". (Fig.2[click])
"FDD"and "Potri" are attached with Velcro.
Furthermore, a "CF access lamp/LED" is provided in the front LCD section. (Reference page-1, Reference page -2）
The screen, of course! The window frame arrangement is the final version of the "6-inch TFT-LCD". (Fig.3)
The configuration program and parameters for this are
ct65535e.exe /m7 (for PC-DOS)
ct65535w.exe 11 (for Win95,Win98)
＋ Is it possible install W2K SP4? ＋
This "MicroDrive 1GB" incorporates PC-DOS, W95, and W98 to create a multi-boot system.
However, I wanted to try out "Win2000", which I used to do a long time ago, to see if it would work now.
The "W2K-CF" that worked a long time ago stopped working after I changed machines, so I reformatted it and used it for another purpose.
This time, first of all, "Win95" was installed in "CF 2GB". (Fig.3)
So, I put the seed of "Win2K" there and tried installing it.
When I tried using the licensed “SP4”, it was currently 20MB, but I actually needed 32MB! That's what it means. (Fig.4[click])
．． ．． Well, that's impossible!
After all, with 20MB, is it not necessary to use "SP1-2" ?
I searched around the store room, but there were no "Win2K" machines left, so I'm considering another method.
．．. After all, I should be able to install it!
But, this problem of short of memories was solved later.
懐中電灯 愚買 ［2023/9/2］
＋＋＋ 集光が可能な懐中電灯？ ＋＋＋
（鳩・カラスを追い払う目的で）懐中電灯の光束を10～15㎝φ（/10m先）位にまで絞れないかと、ネット通販で探してみた。
挙句に、“情報収集不足”と（単なる）“思い込み”で買ったC国製「懐中電灯」（XHP360 ￥２,３３８送料・手数料込み）（図１）に、思いっ切り打っちゃられた！？
LEDセルは、およそ12mm～13mm程なので、これと同じサイズ位まで集光が出来れば良し！（図２［クリック］）
．．．と望んでいたのだが、結果は期待外れだった。
筐体はズシリと重く、手動ズームも比較的スムーズで、点滅機能などもある。
電源は、「単4型アルカリ乾電池」（3本入れケース付き）か「18650 Li-ionバッテリ」（アダプティブ・ケース付き」か、「22650 Li-ionバッテリ」のどれかが使える。
筐体は、ことのほか良く出来ているのに、惜しいなぁ！
＋＋＋ 目一杯絞っても ＋＋＋
“通常照射”だと、約2m先で、およそ180cmφの円形の照射出来る。（図３）
これを手動ズームで一杯迄絞ると、約2m先で約30cmの大きさのチップ像が投影される。（図４［クリック］）
．．．はて？これってどんな意味があるんだろう？（設計者の意図がわからん！もしかしたら、全然意味は無かったのかもしれんが。苦笑）
自分だったら、数m先で、集光した時の像の大きさを、チップ群実サイズ（約12mm角）にまで絞れるように考えただろうと思う。
使っているのは“プラスチック・レンズ”だから、そんな設計はそれほど難しくはないと思うが、どうか？
本体のガッチリさに似合わない、光学系だ。
．．．ま、“仏を作って魂を入れず”の類かな。
