PC110 No.4 前枠入替 ［to English Note］
＋＋＋ No.4の前枠 2度めの変更 ＋＋＋
以前、No.3の前枠を変更したが、「（表示）窓」が少し右に寄り過ぎているのが、気になり始めた。
この「No.4」も"WVGA-LCD"で、TFT化を始めた当初は、"液晶表示"が上手く出来ることだけに満足していたが、次第に、"前面"も出来るだけ違和感の無い"見栄え"にしたいと思うようになった。
幸い、"前枠だけ"や、"不動な本体"の物が数枚あるので、それらを使って、前枠を入れ替えることが出来る。
今回は、その1枚を使って、極力"バランスの良い前枠"の作成に挑戦した。
結果は、程々の満足度だ。（図１、図２［クリック］）
もう少し、窓を左側へ寄せた方が良いかもしれないなぁ。
削り方が下手糞だったので、角の辺りが少し凸凹になってしまった。
もう少し、削り広げて修正する余裕はあると思うが、余計に悪くしそうなので、此処までにした。
更に、もう一台入れ替えたいもの（「No.5」）はあるが、もっと"良い削り方"を考え付くまでは、保留にしておこう。

＋＋＋ 左右均等に広げた ＋＋＋
「No.4」の前の前枠は、左側だけを削っていた（図３）のだが、必要な窓サイズは、横約107㎜、縦約75mmとみて、今回は本来の前枠の左右だけを約5㎜ずつを削った。(上下は、ほんの少しだけ、ヤスリ掛けをした
安定して直線状に切り取るには、平面のある前面の方が良いのだが、今までの経験からは、必ず余計な傷を付けてしまうので、今回も裏側からカッタの刃を入れた。
ヤスリで削ったので、最終的には、左右約6㎜ずつ削った状態になっているはず。
実は、丁度その辺りは、リブを削った跡があって凸凹が多い。
「リュータ」で丁寧に均（なら）したつもりだが、手作業では、どうしても凹凸が残る。
後で、ヤスリ掛けをして均したが、よく見ると、何となく曲がりが残っている。
（ま、これ位なら我慢しよう）
しかし、この材質は、硬い上に脆い。（図４［クリック］）
今回も、端部に5mm程のひびが入ってしまったのだが、押し戻したら、殆ど見えなくなっているので、ホッとしている。
下手をすると、元も子も無くしてしまうので、加工は慎重に々々！--->（自分に）

PC110 No.4 Front frame replacement
+++ No.4 front frame second change +++
Previously, I changed the front frame of No.3 , but I'm feeling that the "(display) window" was a little too far to the right.
At the beginning of conversion to "WVGA-TFT-LCD"s, I was satisfied only with the fact that this "WVGA-TFT-LCD" one could be done well, but gradually I wanted to make the "front" look as natural as possible.
Fortunately, I presented several "front frame only" and "immovable body" items from other persons, so I can use them to replace the front frame.
This time, I tried to create a "balanced front frame" as much as possible using one of them.
The result is moderate satisfaction. (Fig.1, Fig.2 [click])
It might be better to move the window to the left side a little more.
I wasn't good at shaving, so the corners became a little uneven.
I think I can afford to shave it a little more and fix it, but it seems to be worse, so I've done it here.
In addition, there is another one I would like to replace (" No.5 "), but I will put it on hold until I come up with a better "shaving method".

The front frame in front of " No.4 " was cut only on the left side (Fig.3), but the required window size is about 107 mm wide and about 75 mm long, so this time Scraped only the left and right sides of the original front frame by about 5 mm. (The top and bottom are filed just a little
In order to cut out in a stable and straight line, it is better to have a flat front surface, but from my experience so far, it will inevitably cause extra scratches, so I inserted a cutter blade from the back side this time as well.
Since it was filed, it should be in a state of being scraped by about 6 mm on each side.
Actually, there are many bumps and dips around that area.
I intended to use "Ryuter" to carefully level, but by hand, unevenness will inevitably remain.
Later, I filed it and leveled it, but when I looked closely, somehow some bends remained.

However, this material is hard and brittle. (Fig.4 [click])
This time too, there was a crack of about 5mm at the end, but when I pushed it back, it was almost invisible, so I was relieved.
If I am not good at it, I will lose both the original and the child, so be careful on working ! ---> (to myself)
