PC110 No.11:二上 FSTN化 ［to English Note］
＋＋＋ EasySetupはF1キーで毎回、しかしWin95は稀 ＋＋＋
平時は、起動途中で止まってしまうが、稀に起動する「（PC110）No.11:二上」の表示部を、（半不良化のままの）「FSTN化モジュール」に置き換えてみた。
これで、F1キーを押せば、毎回必ず"Easy Setup"を表示出来る。（図１）
この「No.11:二上」は、液晶が劣化していて、"表示"が出せない状態だったので、「外部ディスプレイ」を使って表示させていたのだが、やはり、"内蔵液晶"で表示を出したかった。
元の「劣化液晶モジュール」は、そのまま温存し、（未修理の）「半不良FSTN液晶モジュール」に替えた。（このモジュールは、上下面で明るさが異なっていて、少し見難いのだが、未だ、自信が持てるまで修理は見合わせている）
此の「No.11:二上」は、低気温では起動し易くならないだろうか？と、毎朝、電源を入れて、様子をみているのだが、"昼間"は、稀にでも起動することが無い。
これまで、"早朝"に、稀に「Win95」が起動したことがある。（図２［クリック］）
しかし、"早朝"なら必ず起動するというわけでもなさそうだ。
なので、"起動"と"低気温"との"相関度"は、かなり低そうだ。
そして、残念ながら、この"FSTN液晶表示"にしてからは、未だ「Win95」で起動出来ていない。
＋＋＋ 稀に起動、PCカード・スロットのHDDのみ ＋＋＋
定常的に"起動出来る条件"を探しているのだが、稀にしか起動しないので、確定が難しい。
「CF+PCカード・アダプタ」では、"ドライブが無い"というエラー・メッセージで終わるので、"HDD-1"や"HDD-2"と同じで、BIOSで認識されていないようだ。
「I-O DATA製PCHDT-2Gt」と「VIPER 260」は、BIOSで認識されて、起動も出来ることがある。（今はもっぱら、「PCHDT」を使っている）
これらは、起動寸前まで行くのだが、その後は"読み込みデータ"が不正らしく、"カーソル表示の点滅"で止まってしまう。
偶に、変なメッセージを出して止まってしまったりすることもある。（図４［クリック］）
これが、継続的な"経時劣化"なら、もう先が見込めないので"修復"は諦めるのだが、もし「気合」で復活させられるなら、もう少し頑張ってみたい。z^^;

PC110 No.11: Futakami FSTNized
+++ EasySetup is every time with F1 key, but Win95 is rare +++
I replaced the display part of ( PC110 ) No.11:Futakami (twin mountains)" with " FSTN module " (which remains semi-defective).
Almost, it stops in the middle of startup, and it sometimes start rarely.
Now I can always see " Easy Setup " by pressing the F1 key on this display. (Fig.1)
In this " No.11: Futakami ", the liquid crystal was deteriorated and "display" could not be displayed, so I used " external display ".
But I still wanted to display it on the "built-in LCD".
The original "deteriorated LCD module" was preserved as it was and replaced with a (unrepaired) "semi-defective FSTN LCD module". (This module has different brightness on the top and bottom, so it's a little hard to see, but I'm still not repairing it until I'm confident.)
Isn't this " No.11: Futakami " easier to start at low temperatures ? I turn on the power every morning and watch the situation, but in "daytime", it rarely starts.
In the past, " Win95 " was rarely started in "early morning". (Fig.2 [click])
However, it does not seem to always start in "early morning".
So, the " correlation " between "startup" and "low temperature" seems to be quite low.
And, unfortunately, after switching to this "FSTN LCD display", it has not been able to start with " Win95 " yet.
+++ Rarely booted, only HDD in PC card slot +++
I'm constantly looking for "conditions that can be started", but it is difficult to determine because it starts only rarely.
In " CF +PC Card Adapter", it ends with a error message "No drive", so it is the same as "HDD-1" and "HDD-2", and it seems that it is not recognized by the BIOS. It is.
" I-O DATA made PCHDT-2Gt " and " VIPER 260 " are recognized by the BIOS and can be started.
There is something I can do. (Currently, I use " PCHDT " exclusively)
These go to the point of startup, but after that, the "read data" seems to be invalid , and it stops at "blinking cursor display".
Occasionally, it may stop with a strange message . (Fig.4 [click])
If this is a continuous " deterioration over time ", I will give up the repair, but if it can be revived with "fight spirit", I would like to do my best. z ^^;?
