PC110 No.10:葛城 無線LAN 未達 ［to English Note］
「No.9:"金剛"」で、"無線LAN結合"が出来るようになったので、更に、この「No.10:"葛城"」も、同じことが出来るかどうか試してみた。
だが、これの本体には、幾つか不具合があり、それが障害になるようで、"無線LAN"の組み込みは難しそうだ。
"HDD-1"，"HDD-2"共に認識が出来ない状態なので、現在は「Win95-CF」を"PCカード・アダプタ"に差して、"PCカード・スロット"を使って起動している。
その為か、"PCMCIAソケット"が、自動的に使用不可になってしまうので、"無線LANカード"が、認識されない状態になるのだ。
あれこれ試行錯誤をしてみたのだが、やり過ぎて、OSが異常状態になり、動作を停止してしまう。
（尚、FDDからの「PC-DOS」の読み込みも、思うように進まない。なので、「Win95B」の再インストールは、別のマシンでやるようにしている）
"無線LANカード"の装着に関して、過去の記事を探したら、やはり、失敗した例があった。
今回で3度目の正直だったようだが、やはり、ダメか？！

この「No.10:"葛城"」は、「内蔵フラシュ・ドライブ（"HDD-1"）」、「ピコ・フラッシュ・ドライブ／CF（"HDD-2"）」共に、BIOSで認識されていない。（図４［クリック］）
幸い、"FDD"、"PCMCIAスロット"は活きている。しかし、「FDD」の読み込み状態が、時々怪しくなる。
現在は、"PCMCIAスロット"を使って、「Win95-CF」を起動させている。
その隣のスロットに、無線LANカード（WLI-PCM-L11GP）を差して、使おうとしたのだが、通常の手順では、認識されないようだ。
このカード用の（旧い）インストーラ（mdrv490bやmdrv-971）を、「該社サイト」から貰って（ダウンロードして）来て、「無線LANカード」を"差す手前まで"進めるのだが、（それの指示に従って、）実際にカードを差しても、無反応のままだ。
多分、「PCMCIAソケット」が"使用不可"になっているからだと思う。（図３）
しかし、これを"使用可"にしたいが、方法が分からず。
色々やっていると、OSが動かなくなり、処置不能となる。
"ネット接続"をするには、もっと別の方法を考えないとダメだろうな。
でも、電話回線での接続なんて、今では、およそ非実用的だしなぁ。

PC110 "No.10:Katsuragi" wireless LAN not reached
" No.9:Kongo " can now be used for "wireless LAN connection" . " No.10:Katsuragi " also tried to see if the same thing could be done.
However, there are some problems with this body, which are obstacles, so it seems difficult to incorporate "wireless LAN".
Since both "HDD-1" and "HDD-2" cannot be recognized, currently " Win95-CF " is inserted into the "PC card adapter". It is started using " PC Card Slot ".
For that reason, the "PCMCIA socket" is automatically disabled, and the "wireless LAN card" is not recognized.
I tried a lot of trial and error, but overdoing it caused the OS to go into an abnormal state and stop working.
(Note that reading " PC-DOS " from FDD does not proceed as expected, so " Win95B " Reinstallation is done on another machine)
When I searched for past articles regarding the installation of "wireless LAN cards", there was still a failed example .
It seems that this was the third time to be honest, but is it no good ?!

This " No.10:Katsuragi " is for both "Built-in flash drive (" HDD-1 ")" and "Pico flash drive/CF (" HDD-2 ")". , Not recognized by the BIOS . (Fig_4 [click])
Fortunately, "FDD" and "PCMCIA slot" are alive. However, the reading status of "FDD" sometimes becomes suspicious.
Currently, " PCMCIA slot " is used to start " Win95-CF ".
I tried to use it by inserting a wireless LAN card ( WLI-PCM-L11GP ) into the slot next to it, but it doesn't seem to be recognized by the normal procedure.
The (old) installer ( mdrv490b and mdrv-971 ) for this card "WLI-PCM-L11GP" I got (downloaded) from the company's site and proceeded "until before inserting" the "wireless LAN card" (following the instructions) ) Even if I actually insert the card, it remains unresponsive.
Probably because " PCMCIA socket " is " unavailable ". (Fig_3)
However, I want to make this "usable", but I don't know how.
When I do various things, the OS will not work and I will not be able to handle it.
I'll have to think of another way to "connect to the internet".
However, connecting with a telephone line is now almost impractical.
